CreateQR.ai

FeaturesQR code tracking

Know which code does the work.

Every CreateQR.ai code counts its scans: per day, by approximate city, by device and by hour. Give each poster, flyer or table card its own code and you can see which one people actually use.

Opens a website when scanned: your menu, shop, booking page or anything with a link.

Describe a picture. We hide your code inside it.

AI art comes with a paid plan. Generate takes you to the plan.

What is tracked, and what is not

Each code holds a short link, and a scan passes through it on the way to your page. That moment is counted, with a little context:

  • The day, for quiet weeks, busy weekends and the effect of a new poster.
  • An approximate city and country, worked out from the phone's network. A phone on mobile data can show up under a nearby city.
  • The kind of device people scan with.
  • The hour and the day of the week, so you see when people scan.

We do not store the IP address of anyone who scans, and our own code sets no scan cookies. So we count scans, not people: someone who scans twice counts twice. The Unique people figure in your dashboard is a rough estimate, and it is labelled as one. Our own code sets no cookies on scan pages. Our hosting provider's security service may set one short-lived technical cookie (__cf_bm) to block bots, never for tracking or advertising.

How to track a campaign in three steps

  1. Make one code per placement: one for the window, one for the flyer, one for the table cards. They can all open the same page.
  2. Name each code after its place, so your list of codes reads like a map.
  3. Compare full weeks on the Analytics page after a couple of weeks, and look for differences that hold.

Your dashboard

On the Analytics page you can look at all your codes or just one, over the last 7 or 30 days: scans per day, top cities, devices, and the busiest days and hours. Your best codes ranks them by scans. To keep the numbers or share them, Export CSV gives you one row per day for each code, ready for any spreadsheet app.

Every type is counted

Link and WhatsApp codes are counted on the way through. Wi‑Fi, contact, email, SMS, call and text codes open a small page we host, so they are counted too. A static code, which holds its content in the pattern, cannot be counted at all, and we do not make them.

Reading the numbers well

  • Compare like with like. A Saturday is not a Tuesday, so compare full weeks.
  • Wait for enough scans. A difference of three or four is chance.
  • Change one thing at a time, such as the position of a poster or the words next to the code.
  • Expect your own test scans. Scanning a printed proof counts too.

Questions people ask before they print.

Print it once. Change it any time.

The code on your menu, poster or business card never has to change. What it opens can, as often as you like.

Your link changes. Your code stays.

New website, new menu, new shop link next week? Point the code at the new address in seconds. Every copy you already printed follows.
